Unique copies that do not resemble each other
The Maserati MC20 is not a true successor to the MC12, but more like a track-only supercar. Project24 was announced in mid-July and is now back with new images, albeit again rather than actual images of the car. However, we can see the flagship Maserati with an aerodynamic body that features butterfly doors.
The aerial view shows the central fin extending from the roof to the rear spoiler. And no two cars will be alike because all 62 units planned for production will be truly unique. Owners will configure their vehicles through Maserati's personalization programme. Maserati says Project24 will be its most customizable car to date.
Power 740 hp
By not having to comply with emissions regulations, this model uses an upgraded configuration of the 3.0-liter Nettuno V6 twin-turbo engine with 740 hp, or nearly 120 hp more than the street-legal model. And while there's no word on torque at the moment, it's likely that it has increased from the 730 Nm that can be reached in the MC20 with a license plate.
