Brooklyn Beckham, the eldest son of English football star David Beckham and his mother Victoria Beckham, also a famous English singer. Brooklyn has always been known to be the son who gets what he wants, and that's because he's the son of the most famous star in the world of English football. But he also has a rich history, let's get to know Brooklyn and one of his supercars that was finally unveiled by the famous blogger Daniel Mack. But people had doubts that Beckham's son, with the work he currently works, was able to buy such a car. What's up?
Brooklyn Beckham with a busy life
Beckham began his modeling career professionally in 2014 and appeared on several popular magazine covers. Beckham was also an ambassador for the brand for Huawei and its Honor 8 smartphones along with Scarlett Johansson, Carly Kloss and Henry Cavill.
He then moved on to photography in 2017, where Beckham announced that he would receive a degree in photography at the Parsons School of Design at the New School of New York. Less than a year later in the United States, Beckham's first photography book, What I See, was published in June 2017.
Then in 2021, it was revealed that Beckham was trying to become a professional chef. His online video series Cookin'With Brooklyn was filmed.
McLaren P1
The McLaren B1 is the car in which it was filmed. It is a hybrid sports car with a limited production engine produced by the British car manufacturer McLaren Automotive. First appearing at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, P1 sales in the UK began in October 2013 and all 375 units were sold by November.
The McLaren P1 remained the successor to the most famous McLaren family, the McLaren F1, until the advent of the McLaren Speedtail, which was already the successor to the F1. The P1 features a mid-rear engine design that uses the concept of a single carbon fiber safety cage and roof structure called MonoCage, a development of MonoCell that was first used in MP4-12C and then in later models.
Mythical performance from P1
Given the focus on performance, it's not surprising that McLaren has allowed aerodynamics to define the overall design of the P1. The chassis is made up of carbon fiber wrapped on top of a monocoque chassis, with a cockpit inspired by a fighter jet descending from the hood to direct air through the rear wing, helping to create a medium silhouette of the engine that reveals how tight its beams are. The distinctive dual vents on the front symbolize the strength of the P1's performance, while the active rear bumper offers F1 DRS-style pneumatic features on straight tracks as well as acting as an air braking
The power mostly comes from the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, the same engine used in the McLaren range, but modified to produce 727 horsepower and 720 Nm of torque, along with a lightweight electric motor powered by the KERS, providing an additional power of 176 horsepower and 260 Nm at the driver's disposal. This power reaches the rear wheels via a seven-speed clutch dual-clutch gearbox.
After Daniel Mack showed the video, many wondered how a cooking hobby could buy McLaren at this price!
